South Van FC's men's team competes in the Vancouver Men's Soccer League. We're a club built around competition, consistency, and development. Adult soccer in Vancouver at a standard that demands more from you every week.
Competing in the VMSL
The Vancouver Men's Soccer League is one of the top adult amateur competitions in British Columbia. Founded decades ago, it draws hundreds of clubs across Metro Vancouver and sets a standard that separates recreational play from real competitive soccer.
Matches are structured, refereed, and reported. There are standings, promotions, relegations, and consequences. If you want to test yourself against the best adult players in the region, this is the level.

How Selection Works
- 01Apply
Complete the form below. Tell us your position, availability, and what drives you to compete.
- 02Trial Session
You'll be invited to train with the squad. Our trials span over multiple sessions. Show us what you've got.
- 03Selection
Coaches assess your technical level, decision-making, and attitude. Every decision is merit-based.
- 04Earn Your Minutes
Making the squad is the start. Match minutes are earned week-to-week through training and performance.
No guaranteed starts. No protected spots. Every player competes every week, that's what keeps standards high.
We hold each other to a high standard. Honest feedback, direct communication, and mutual respect are the baseline.
We want players who want to get better. If you're coachable and driven, you'll fit here. If you're not, you won't.
